Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse LPG consumers who were pelting stones at the office of a gas agency in Peepeeganj area here.
The angry consumers, after waiting for hours in long queues, yesterday started pelting stones at the office of Ashish Indane Gas Services in Bhagwanpur area, police said.
The consumers also clashed with agency personnel as they tried to stop vehicles carrying gas cylinders for home delivery, police said, adding that a constable and a few consumers received minor injuries during the incident.
