Lt Governor of Puducherry Lt General (retired) A K Singh today greeted the people on the occasion of new year.
In his message, he called upon the people to take a pledge on the occasion to strive hard and contribute for development of the Union Territory.
Chief Minister N Rangasamy in his greetings said all should join together and ensure that Puducherry emerged as number one state in nurturing unity, peace and fraternity.
Speaker V Sabapathy said people should sink all differences and work for progress and development of Puduchrry.
