LTTS launches nationwide initiative for young talent

: L&T Technology Services (LTTS), an arm of engineering giant Larsen and Toubro Ltd(L&T), today announced the formal launch of its nationwide initiative to offer a ready platform to young talent to work on real-time technology challenges and engineering problems that businessescurrently face.

Termed 'TECHgium',the initiative will offer opportunities to third year and final year engineering graduates from over 240 engineering institutes to work on futuristic technology ideas, the company said in a release.

It said LTTS has invited students from top tier engineering institutes in the country to work on projects and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that will address current needs and future challenges of LTTS' global clients.
 

Stating that TECHgium will lead to the creation of anew breed of associates with niche engineering skills and capabilities, LTTS said it will provide students an invaluable opportunity to work on futuristic technologies and augment the solution development team of LTTS, while getting recognised as a "TECHgium innovator!"

Successful candidates will be eligible for absorption into the company based on the merit of their solutions, and there is also a cash reward for the top innovations developed by students, the company added.

"Our TECHgium initiative is a pivotal step towards creating a new ecosystem that brings together customers, academia and students to be part of the nation's capacity building objectives and also trigger new-age innovations conceptualised by fresh minds," L&T Technology Services CEO & Managing Director Dr Keshab Panda said.
