Actress Lucy Hale has put all the rumours of her quitting "Pretty Little Liars" to rest.

Hale, 26, who is famous for her role as Aria Montgomery on the series to Twitter to clarify the speculation, reported Aceshowbiz.

"Just to clarify... I am not leaving PLL!! All these rumours. I'm with the show until the 7th and last season." she wrote.

The news of Hale leaving the ABC Family series went viral after a magazine apparently quoted her as saying, "I'll be done next October with ('Pretty Little Liars') forever, which is exciting, but also scary at the same time, because it's the next chapter of my life and so I'm really looking forward to exploring different and darker roles."

The magazine, however, did not mention that Hale thought the show would end after the upcoming seventh season.

Recently, executive producer I Marlene King and Shay Mitchell, who stars in the series, said the teen drama could have an eighth season as well.

The actress and other main star of the series are currently filming season 6B, scheduled to air in early 2016.

The seventh, which perhaps will be the final season, is expected to premiere in September 2016.
