'Dracula Untold' star Luke Evans has been cast in Ben Wheatley's latest movie 'Free Fire'.

The 35-year-old actor stars in the film about an arms deal that goes wrong, according to Variety.

'Free Fire' is set in Boston in 1978 and begins with a gang who are selling a stash of guns.

The story follows Justine, a woman who interrupts the meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen and the gang of arms dealers.

When shots are fired in the handover, a heart-stopping game of survival ensues.

Evans has been cast as one of the gang leaders.

Also starring in 'Free Fire' is Armie Hammer, Olivia Wilde, Michael Smiley and 'Inception' actor Cillian Murphy.

Wheatley most recently directed the first two episodes of 'Doctor Who's eighth series, while his adaptation of JG Ballard's 'High-Rise' will be released next year.
