Drug firm Lupin today reported a 57.75 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 662.19 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, mainly on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit after taxes and minority interest of Rs 419.75 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, Lupin said in a BSE filing.
Consolidated total income of the company also rose to Rs 4,290.51 crore during the quarter under consideration as against Rs 3,329.67 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Shares of Lupin were trading 0.81 per cent up at Rs 1521.55 apiece on BSE.
