Kenyan-origin actress Lupita Nyong'o has become the ambassador for a French beauty brand following her Oscar win at last month's Academy awards.
The 31 year-old actress has been named the newest ambassador of Lancome, joining the likes of Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock, reported Huffington Post.
This comes just a month after her win at the 86th annual Academy awards for best supporting actress in '12 Years A Slave.'

The company first made the announcement by posting a stunning photograph of Nyong'o on its official Twitter account.
The Mexican-born actress then shared a video on her Instagram page confirming the news, saying she is "incredibly excited" for this opportunity.
In a statement released by the French company, Nyong'o said, "I am truly honoured to join the Maison Lancome, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved.
"I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself."
She is now the fourth Academy award winner to be the face of Lancome.
