Fox has ordered four new pilots, including a remake of the BBC's 'Luther'.

The cop thriller - which originally starred Idris Elba in the lead role - was given a put pilot commitment by the network last year, reported The Wrap.

Elba, 42, is not expected to reprise his role in the one-hour pilot, but will serve as executive producer alongside series creator and writer Neil Cross.

'Frankenstein' has also received a one-hour pilot order, which chronicles the story of a morally corrupt retired cop, who is given a chance to change his ways when he is brought back from the dead.

Ray Pritchard will be forced to choose between a new perspective on life or falling back into his old habits.

Rand Ravich is writing the pilot and executive producing with Howard Gordon.

Fox recently ordered a remake of 'Minority Report', while also renewing 'Empire', 'Gotham' and 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'.
