Indie filmmaker Lynn Shelton will be directing Hulu's new limited series "Little Fires Everywhere".
The eight-episode series, based on Celeste Ng's best-selling novel of the name same, will feature actors Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington and Rosemarie DeWitt in the lead, reported Variety.
Shelton, known for films such as "Humpday" and "Your Sister's Sister", will helm four episodes of the show, including the premiere and finale.
Ng's novel is based in the wealthy town of Shaker Heights, Ohio, which was torn apart after a white couple adopts a Chinese-American infant and the baby's birth mother wants her child back.
Liz Tigelaar has adapted the script for the show and will also serve as executive producer and showrunner. Ng will act as the producer.
Witherspoon, Washington and Shelton will also executive produce the series.
The series is produced by Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine, Washington's Simpson Street, and ABC Signature Studios.
