The trailer of Indian-origin filmmaker M Night Shyamalan's new horror film "The Visit" has landed online.

The trailer has similarity with one of the classic Brothers Grimm tales, 'Hansel and Gretel'. But instead of dealing with a wicked witch in a gingerbread house, the kids are trapped in their own grandparents' house, reported Ace Showbiz.

In the horror movie, a brother and sister are sent to their grandparents' remote Pennsylvania farm for a week-long trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.

"Bedtime is 9:30," their grandfather says when sending the two youngsters to bed.

"It's probably best you two shouldn't come out of your room after that." At one point, the grandmother even asks one of her grandchildren, "Would you mind getting inside the oven to clean it?"

The film, starring Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Peter McRobbie and Benjamin Kanes, will hit theatres on September 11.
