Madhuban Chowk-Mukarba Chowk segment to be thrown open on Sun

Delhi government will throw open the Madhuban Chowk-Mukarba Chowk road segment in northwest Delhi, the second section of Vikaspuri-Wazirabad elevated corridor project on Outer Ring Road, for traffic from Sunday.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate the 2.6 km-long elevated corridor on January 24.

Last Sunday, Peeragarhi to Madhuban chowk elevated corridor section of the project was made operational.

The project has been completed at a cost of Rs 300 crore against the original sanctioned budget of Rs 421.79 crore, Delhi's PWD Minister Satyendar Jain said

Jain said the government has saved around Rs 121 crore by completing the project as per the revised deadline set by the AAP government.
