Two days before its scheduled end, the Winter session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned sine die after it completed its listed business.
The 12 day-session which began on December 7 completed its business in 10 days with 8 sittings.
"The House was the pre-requisite in democracy as it hears the voice and concern of people and addresses them. It was an effective medium to deliver service to the public," Speaker Sitasaran Sharma said in the concluding speech.

"The House is a temple of democracy and its strength lies in debates. I am impressed with the discussions held during the session. They were in public interest. Debates give opposition a chance to grill the government.
"The conduction of a session was in the interest of public, opposition and government. The government gets a chance to correct its mistakes," Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the House.
Deputy leader of the opposition Bala Bachchan, who led the Congress in absence of the Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare, who is unwell, thanked the members and Assembly officials.
He said fruitful discussion took place during the session.
