Madhya Pradesh: Two teenagers drown in Lakhundar river

Two teenagers today drowned in the Lakhundar river at village Nalkheda of the district while taking bath, police said.

The deceased, who were identified as Govind Sharma (15) and Ravi Sharma (14), had gone to the river, to take bath, said Nalkheda Police Station in-charge Shankar Singh Chouhan.

The two, who did not know swimming, went into deep waters and drowned. Their bodies were handed over to the family members after the post-mortem, Chouhan said, adding a case has been registered.
