Pop diva Madonna is all set to introduce two members of Russian protest punk rock act Pussy Riot at a concert promoting human rights in New York City.

The 55-year-old singer announced that she will appear with Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and maria Alyokhina as part of an Amnesty International concert on February 5 alongside artists like Bob Geldof, Blondie and Yoko Ono.

"Get ready to rock Brooklyn! Madonna will attend the Amnesty International Bringing Human Rights Home concert at the Barclays Center on February 5th to introduce the Pussy Riot's performance!," read the entry on her Facebook page.

Madonna has already professed her admiration for Maria and Nadezhda, who were recently released after nearly two years in jail following a conviction.

The pair were released in December after spending 16 months in prison. They and another woman, Yekaterina Samutsevich, were arrested in August 2012 for singing a protest song in a Moscow cathedral.

The February 5 Bringing Human Rights Home concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn also includes Imagine Dragons, Lauryn Hill, The Flaming Lips and others.
