Madonna rubbishes reports of applying to adopt two more kids

Pop icon Madonna has denied the reports which claimed that she is trying to adopt two more children from Malawi.

The 58-year-old star she has not applied for the alleged adoptions, reported AceShowbiz.

"I am in Malawi to check on the children's hospital in Blantyre and my other work with Raising Malawi, and then heading home. The rumors of an adoption process are untrue," the singer said.

It was recently reported that Madonna had appeared before a Lilongwe High Court judge with two unidentified children.

Madonna has adopted two children son David Banda, 11, in 2006 and daughter Mercy James, 11, in 2009 from the same country.
 

The pop diva founded her Raising Malawi charity in 2006 and is building Queen Elizabeth hospital, the first pediatric hospital in the country, to benefit the orphans and underprivileged children living there.
