Principal of Madurai Government Law College was killed and two others injured when their speeding car somersaulted thrice after one of its front tyres burst in neighbouring Virudhunagar district today.
55-year old Johnson, his wife and sister-in-law were on their way here when the tyre burst, sending the car into a somersault.
Johnson, who suffered serious head injuries, died without responding to treatment at a hospital, where the injured had also been admitted in a serious condition.
