Actor Channing Tatum, who co-produced "Magic Mike", has revealed that the movie is set to be become a musical in Broadway theatre.
The 33-year-old "Step Up" star, whose stripping past believed to have inspired the film, said he was thrilled about the development, reported Contactmusic.

The Musical is said to be directed by Tatum, his partner Reid Carolin, Steven Soderbergh, Gregory Jacobs and Nick Wechsler.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is expected to write the script and Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will do the songs.
