Magicbricks partners SBI for 'Home Buying Festival'

Realty portal Magicbricks has partnered with State Bank of India (SBI) to organise an online home-buying festival, starting today.

"Magicbricks and State Bank of India (SBI) have launched India's biggest property festival, Home Buying Festival (HBF)," the portal said in a statement.

The three-week long online festival will kick start from June 10-30.

Star Health Insurance ties bancassurance agreement with BoI * Star Health Insurance today entered into bancassurance agreement with Bank of India to market the private health insurer's products across the public sector lenders' branches across the country.

This tie-up will enable Star Health to leverage Bank of India's network of all branches and huge customer base across the country, according to a release.
 

"We attempt to make our products and services easily accessible to customers, while trying to address the issue of low health insurance penetration in the country.

"The bancassurance channel has the potential to reach out to untapped sections, which is the need of the hour. We hope to create huge value for all our customers on a long-term basis," Star Health and Allied Insurance Senior Executive Director S Prakash said.

BlaBlaCar crosses 3 mn seat bookings milestone * Paris-based BlaBlaCar today said it has crossed the 3 million-seats booking milestone on its platform in India.

This translates into 145 million trip kilometres on BlaBlaCar, it said in a statement.

"Now that we're witnessing a maturity and a strong growth trend in the Indian market, we feel that it's the right time to launch a more feature-rich BlaBlaCar platform," BlaBlaCar India Country Manager Raghav Gupta said.
Tata Capital partners LKP Securities to distribute loans

* Financial services company Tata Capital today said it has tied up with LKP Securities for distribution of its retail loans.

With this pact, Tata Capital will be able to distribute its products through LKP Securities' network of over 3,000 sub-brokers and its customer base, a company statement said.

"The tie-up...Will not only help boost our pan-India presence but also our access to high quality customer segments," Tata Capital COO (retail business and housing finance) Govind Sankaranarayanan said in Mumbai.

Mindshare partners Culture Machine to launch content lab * Media agency Mindshare, part of GroupM, has partnered with Culture Machine to launch 'Content Lab' as part of their Content+ division.

Mindshare's clients will have access to Culture Machine's patent pending Big Data Content platform, Intelligence Machine (IM), as well as it's Programmatic Content tool, Video Machine (VM), in addition to the latter's team of analysts, data scientists, machine learning experts, channel management, audience growth and in-house content studios.

"With brands willing to invest in content, it is up to teams like Content Lab to create or curate great ideas and platforms that will capture the imagination of the end consumer. As digital media fuels consumption of traditional TV and radio, Content Lab is an avenue that allows us push the agenda forward on branding and entertainment," Mindshare Head - Content Division Devendra Deshpande said in a statement.

Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund launches SIP Campaign * Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company (BSLAMC), a part of Aditya Birla Financial Services Group, today announced the launch of 'Sabse Important Plan', a goal-based investment campaign to drive awareness, and preference for Systematic Investment Plan among retail investors.

Offering investors in-depth information on how to identify and realise their long term goals, the campaign discusses the ins and outs of investing and choosing their 'Sabse Important Plan' or Systematic Investment Plan, the company said in a statement issues in Mumbai.

GIPCL partners NTPC to train employees

* Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd has entered into a into a two-year pact with NTPC Ltd's Power Management Institute (NTPC-PMI) for continuous learning and training for enhancement of competencies and skills of its employees.

The objective of the MoU is to provide an assured framework for cooperation between both the organisations, NTPC said in a statement.

Tata Motors announces Onam offer to attract customers * Tata Motors today announced a marketing campaign during coming Onam festival season for its passenger vehicle customers in Kerala, which is among the top five markets for the company in the country.

Announcing the 'Samridhiyilekkoru Onam Offer' in Kochi, VP Sales, Passenger Vehicles Business, Tata Motors, S N Barman said "Kerala is one of our focus markets in India and we are witnessing a growing momentum in this market.

According to the company, the passenger car industry in the state has grown by 16 per cent in Q1 2016-17 at 45,179 units, over last year, with the A2 segment (hatchbacks) growing by 17 per cent.

The Onam offer includes a chance to win a 1BHK through luck draw for customers who book a Tata car. The offer begins today and is till September 14.

Vodafone becomes Guinness World Records title holder * Telecom major Vodafone today said it has become a Guinness World Records title-holder for largest online photo album of mannequins.

Fans across 60 cities had clicked and uploaded their pictures with Vodafone's popular mascot Zoozoos and over 75,000 photographs were collated in the specially created online album, a company statement said.
