Magma Fincorp Ltd, a non- banking finance company, today announced the installation of porta cabins and e-toilets at Karimnagar in Telangana in partnership with Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA).
Similar permanent structures will be set up in 13 more high traffic transport locations in the country to train over 1 lakh truck drivers on improving driving habits for better mileage and fuel conservation.
Regular bi-monthly training workshops will be conducted in these porta cabins for drivers. Diagnosis and basic medication, posture correction and de-stress workshops will also be organised, Magma and PCRA officials said here.
"Clean sanitation drive through e-toilets will impact and improve hygiene of over 10 lakh people. The facility will provide direct health benefit to over 1 lakh truck drivers and training workshops have the potential to save about 7,65,000 litres of fuel per year," Magma Fincorp Chief Marketing Officer Sandeep Walnuj said.
