The tickets can be booked online and would be made available to the people at the stadium. The decision has been taken in view of maintaining law and order and streamlining the ticket sales, government officials said.
Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will have to print the tickets or get it done through authorised agencies.
"On making the booking online, the concerned person should be given a code and the ticket can be made available at the stadium on display of identity card," officials said.
According to them, organisers of the match have submitted a sample of the ticket to the government and it was satisfactory.
"The organisers should not make changes at their level," they said.
The Government has asked the organisers to deposit the entertainment duty as per the seating capacity to the district collector four days before the match.
After the match, the unsold tickets should be given back to the district collectorate for refund of the entertainment duty.
