Maha Chief Secy gets six months extension

Maharashtra Chief Secretary Jayant Kumar Banthia, who retires today, has been given an extension of six months.

"Banthia has been given six months' extension," the Chief Minister's office said.

Banthia had taken over charge from Ratnakar Gaikwad on June 1, 2012.
