Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today underlined the need to upgrade health infrastructure through public participation.
"The problem of steep costs of medical treatment and medicines can be resolved through co-operative basis," Fadnavis said at the golden jubilee of Sushrusha Citizens Co-operative Hospital Ltd at suburban Vikhroli.
He said a public service initiative would be successful if implemented with a sense of trusteeship.
