Maha govt inks MoU with Tata Trusts to fight malnutrition

The Maharashtra government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Trusts to fast track efforts for eliminating malnutrition in Palghar and other districts of the state.

The MoU was signed by Woman and Child Welfare department and Tata Trusts in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Tata Trusts will work on growth monitoring, Anganwadi data digitisation, analysis and integrations of efforts of agencies working in these areas.

Another MoU also signed in presence of Fadnavis between Tata Trusts and Animal Husbandry department for milk fortification as per government standards for vitamin A and B.
