The northern and eastern grids tripped on Tuesday, leading to power failure in several states of the country affecting millions of people.
"Our power generation system is good and there is no problem. We are continuously monitoring the situation," Minister of State for Power Rajendra Mulak told reporters here.
He said the state's power generation units are operational in full capacity and we are prepared to combat any eventuality.
Asked if the power generation units are facing problems due to deficient rainfall, he said the generation was on as of now as there has been adequate water supply so far.
"However, some places are facing problems due to the scanty rains," he said.
"We expect that the situation will further improve once there is a good rainfall in next one and a half month," he added.
