Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao today released the book 'Ancient Coins of India' at a conference on 'Ancient Coins of India - The Lance Dane Bequest' here.
The event was organised by the Hinduja Foundation, a Raj Bhavan release said this evening.
Trustee of Hinduja Foundation Ashok and Harsha Hinduja, Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Dr Sanjay Deshmukh, Shailendra Bhandare of Ashmolean Museum of Oxford University, Amiteshwar Jha, Director of Indian Institute of Numismatic Research, Nashik and Executive Vice President of the Foundation Brig H Chukerbuti (retd) were present.
