Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao will preside over an event to celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of Karmaveer Dr Bhaurao Patil in Satara tomorrow.
Chairman of Maharashtra Legislative Council, Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar, Satara guardian minister, Vijay Shivtare and Member of Parliament, Udayan Raje Bhosale, will attend the programme which is being organised by the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.
President of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Dr Anil Patil, Prof ND Patil and Secretary Dr Ganesh Thakur, too, will take part in the event.

Founded by Karmaveer Dr Bhaurao Patil in 1919, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha has expanded to 15 districts of Maharashtra and one district in Karnataka.
The institution has 709 branches, including 438 secondary schools, 41 primary schools, eight teacher training schools, 28 pre-primary English-medium schools, 78 hostels, two industrial training institutes and 43 higher education institutions, among others.
