Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh president Devdas Matale today wrote to Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Home Minister R R Patil, demanding that necessary changes be made into the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as was done by Kerala Government, to punish attacks on media houses and media representatives.

In February, journalists all over Maharashtra had staged demonstrations demanding immediate enactment of the law.
