Both Houses of Maharashtra Legislature today paid tributes to the students and other people massacred at a school in Pakistan's Peshawar town.
State Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagde read out the condolence resolution while condemning the barbaric incident.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Congress group leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar were present in the House where members observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the victims.

Chairman Shivajirao Deshmukh then immediately moved the resolution condoling the deaths.
Chief Minister Fadnavis and Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse were present in the Upper House when the resolution was moved.
The Council also observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect after which it was adjourned for five minutes.
As many as 141 people, mostly school children, were yesterday killed and 130 injured after heaving armed Taliban suicide bombers stormed an Army-run school in Peshawar and fired indiscriminately at them.
