Maha minister's twitter handle 'hacked', restored in some time

Maharashtra minister Chandrakant Patil's official twitter account was hacked, but was restored after some time.

Patil himself informed the people about the hacking incident from his twitter handle after it was restored.

"My account was hacked and kindly ignore any tweets or retweets made from it during the time. A police complaint will be filed soon in this regard," Patil said in a tweet posted late last night.

The account was restored after some time.

When contacted, police officials, however, said that they were yet get any complaint in this connection.

Sources close to Patil that they were preparing necessary documentation for filing a complaint.
 

The Revenue Minister was not available for comment.

Patil is considered number two in the Devendra Fadnavis cabinet.
