Senior Congress leader Sriprakash Jaiswal has been given the charge of coordinating party's campaign in 37 assembly seats around Mumbai for the forthcoming Maharashtra assembly elections.
"Congress President Sonia Gandhi yesterday instructed me to go to Mumbai and take reponsibilty of 37 seats around Mumbai," Jaiswal told PTI today.
The former coal minister said he has been given the responsiblity of assisting the leaders contesting elections, participating in door-to-door campign for the party, and coordinating between party workers.

Jaiswal said he believed that he would be able to do good work as he has visited Mumbai many times before and he knew the party workers very well there.
On being asked if the party will make a comeback in the elections due on October 15, he said only Congress can provide a stable and growth-orieted government in the state.
