Maharashtra Government has decided to provide driving licenses to students in their colleges itself.

Transport Minister Diwakar Raote told reporters today that college students need not go to RTO for new driving licenses as well as for renewal.

The initiative will be launched from Kirti College here from January 16.

Students will get their driving licenses for two-wheeler and four-wheeler in their colleges itself, the minister added.
