An adult tiger which was spotted a few days ago near MIHAN in Maharashtra's Nagpur district is still moving around in nearby villages, a forest department official said on Tuesday.

On Monday, it was spotted twice, once at a farm in Gumgaon Hingna area at 7am and in Mouza Sumthan, where a calf was found killed, at 5pm, said Deputy Conservator of Forests, Nagpur Prabhunath Shukla.

He said forest department teams have been deployed and patrolling has been increased in the areas around Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN).

The forest department had installed several cameras traps in MIHAN on November 16 after they got information about a tiger sighting near the Infosys campus road here.

Several major tech companies including Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, HCL, Dassault Reliance Aerospace Ltd (DRAL) etc have their campuses in the area that is spread over 4,000 hectares, located near a forest reserve.
