Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said his government will create a separate tourist circuit for Khandesh and support all efforts to promote tourism in the region.
He was speaking at the Sarangkheda Chetak Festival 2016 in Nandurbar district, where he presented "Uttar Maharashtra RatnaGaurav" awards.
Khandesh comprises the northwestern portion of the state.

The festival was organised by MTDC (Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation).
State minister Jaykumar Rawal, local MP Heena Gavit were present on the occasion.
The recipients of the awards included former President Pratibha Patil, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and other prominent personalities in various fields.
Fadnavis also launched website for Nandurbar, a mobile application and released a booklet containing information for tourists visiting the region.
"We will make separate tourist circuit for Khandesh and government will support all efforts to promote tourism as it generates maximum employment," the CM said.
