The Rajasthan government today appointed Mahendra Bhardwaj as the Press Advisor to Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje with immediate effect.
Bhardwaj, who earlier worked as Press Attache in the previous Raje government from 2003-2008, has been appointed in the terms of reference of existing press advisor's post.
Bhardwaj had actively participated in mass media campaign of Raje's 'Parivartan Yatra' in 2003 before she came to power, and was also active during the newly-elected Chief Minister's 'Suraj Sankalp Yatra' from January this year till the elections were over.
