Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India (MHRIL) today posted a 6.9 per cent growth in its standalone profit after tax at Rs 32.3 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, compared to the same period last year.
The leisure hospitality provider's PAT stood at Rs 30.2 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year, the company said in a release issued here.
Standalone total income increased by 8.9 per cent at Rs 276.7 crore compared to Rs 253.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
"Our focus on creating new family leisure experiences at our resorts along with continuous improvement and digitisation in customer facing processes has enabled growth in resort income, vacation ownership income and profit after tax. Our new greenfield 50th resort Pristine Peaks, Naldhera became operational this quarter and is a significant milestone in our journey of 20 years," MHRIL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Kavinder Singh said.
