Mahindra Powerol launches new range of diesel gensets

Mahindra Powerol has launched a range of higher capacity diesel generators which are equipped with less polluting CRD engines.

The launch strengthens the Mahindra group company's presence in higher kVA segment with its 250 kVA & 320 kVA offerings.

The new 9.3 litre engine range is the latest addition to Mahindra Powerol's mPower series and comes equipped with the technologically advanced CRD engine which is future-ready and known for heavy duty performance, fuel efficiency and also reduces pollution.

The 250kVA diesel generator is priced at Rs 12.5 lakh, while the 320kVA one at Rs 16 lakh, Hemant Sikka of Mahindra Powerol said.
 

The company entered the genset segment in 2001-02 and as of FY17 its turnover stood at Rs 1,250 crore.

***************************** IRB's CG Tollway project receives appointed date

CG Tollway, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IRB Infrastructure, has received appointed date from NHAI for its Chittorgarh-Gulabpura six laning highway project.

The Rs 2,090 crore project has a concession period of 20 years, which includes construction span of910 days. The construction and tolling has commenced from November 4, as per the appointed date, the company said in a statement.

"With this, two of the three Rajasthan 6-laning projects, Udaipur-Gujarat border and Chittorgarh-Gulabpura have commenced construction and tolling. Third project, Kishangarh-Gulabpura, is expected to join the list soon," IRB Chairman and Managing Director Virendra Mhaiskar said.

********************************* Endemol Shine elevates Abhishek Rege as CEO

Content production company Endemol Shine India today elevated Abhishek Rege as its chief executive from CFO.

Rege will replace Deepak Dhar, who has stepped down to pursue a new venture, the company said in a statement.

"Rege has played a central role in our growth during his time as chief operating officer and we couldn't ask for stronger leadership to further build on our remarkable successes across non-scripted and scripted genres," Endemol group CEO Nicola Bamford said.

Rege will work alongside Dhar during the transition period.
