Homegrown auto major Mahindra and Mahindra today reported a 13.53 per cent increase in total tractor sales at 17,553 units in July.
The company had sold 15,460 units in the same month last year.
Domestic tractor sales rose 15.26 per cent to 16,452 units in July as against 14,273 units in the year-ago month, the company said in a BSE filing.

Commenting on the sales outlook, M&M President and Chief Executive Farm Equipment and Two-wheeler Division Rajesh Jejurikar said with normal rainfall and its improved spread across India in the month of July, Kharif sowing has been more than last year.
"We hope for an improved agricultural output and tractor demand in the future," he added.
