MAIT elevates Nitin Kunkolienker as President

IT hardware makers' body MAIT today announced the elevation of Nitin Kunkolienker as its President.

"It's great to have Nitin elevated to the President's role at MAIT. Nitin has demonstrated his ability to drive growth and has delivered results for us in the past.

"I am confident he will add value and extend MAIT's growth...," Manufacturers' Association for Information Technology's (MAIT) outgoing President Debjani Ghosh said in a statement.

Ghosh is Managing Director and Vice President for sales and marketing, Intel South Asia.

Kunkolienker is Director at Synegra EMS Ltd.

Kunkolienker has been part of MAIT's management team in the past and has had a string of associations with various industry bodies, including Verna Industries Association (VIA), Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Vidya Vikas Mandal (VVM) and Goa Management Association (GMA).
 

"It is time for IT hardware industry in India to tap new opportunities and with MAIT being the apex body for IT hardware, I look forward to working with the entire hardware ecosystem in India as we embark on this exciting journey," Kunkolienker said.

Harish Krishnan, Managing Director, Public Affairs and Strategic Engagements at Cisco India and SAARC, has been appointed as Vice President of MAIT.
