Major fire at two places in the city, none injured

Two incidents of major fire were reported from two separate places in the city today, however, none was injured.

According to fire brigade officials, massive fire broke at a showroom of ready-made clothes in Gandhi Nagar area of the national capital at around 2:45 PM.

It was brought under control late evening by 22 fire engines, which were rushed to the spot, they said.

In another incident, fire broke at a spare parts godown in Balaji Nagar at Kashmere Gate at around 6:40 PM and was brought under control at around 9:30 PM. The fire department had to put in operation 20 fire engines to douse the blaze.
 

"Nobody was hurt in both the incidents which are under control now. We are yet to ascertain reasons behind the fire incidents and damage to properties it caused," they said.
