A major fire today broke out in a three-storey factory of wood items in the outskirts of the city, police said.
However, no loss of life has been reported so far.
The incident took place in the wee hours at the top floor of the factory building located in Jaitpura village on Sikar highway in which furniture and other wood items were gutted, police said.
"Twelve fire brigades were press into service and flames were brought under control. Prima facie, short circuit, appears to be the cause of the fire," Assistant Sub-Inspector of Chomu Police Station, Harlal said.
