Jharkhand government is working towards policy reforms to realise its "Make in Jharkhand" mission and necessary steps have been initiated to address land and infrastructure problems, official sources said.
Director (Industries) of the State, K Ravi Kumar said the two major bottlenecks for the industry - land and infrastructure - are being seriously addressed and policy reform will be visible by January 2016.
He was addressing a conference on "Manufacturing Excellence -Make in Jharkhand", organised by Jamshedpur chapter of CII here.

Tata Steel MD (India and South East Asia), T V Narendran, who is also the Deputy Chairman CII Eastern Region, pointed out that technology aspects are changing the manufacturing processes.
It is therefore imperative that digital manufacturing is integrated into the companies processes, he said.
He also suggested that industry should take the responsibility to involve and occupy the semi skilled and skilled workforce of the country.
Narendran stressed that strong MSME sector would ensure greater and balanced growth for the economy.
In his welcome address, Tarun Daga, Chairman CII Jharkhand said manufacturing processes will determine the growth and development of the country.
Daga pointed out that manufacturing of products at par with global standards, increase volume of production in minimum time with best possible resource utilisation methods, adoption of hybrid technology, advanced robotics, among others are the key to achieve manufacturing excellence.
