Make Tamil 2nd official language: BJP member

BJP Member Tarun Vijay today demanded making Tamil the second official langauge of the country to help the language regain its supremacy.

Stating that the rich language is hardly spoken in Northern states, he also demanded the language be introduced in all schools in Northern states.

"Besides, Tamil should be introduced as the second official langauge of the country in order to restore the supremacy of the language," he said in a special mention.

Chaudhury Munavver Salim (SP) demanded that the Imam of the Masjid inside the Taj monument should be paid adequate compensation to lead a life of dignity as the existing emoulments are too less to lead a decent life.
 

T Ratna Bai (Cong) demanded the Prime Minister's intervention to ensure efficient implementation of programmes and schemes meant for tribals in Andhra Pradesh as lack of transparency was hampering their proper execution.

Arvind Kumar Singh (SP) demanded a central university in Bhojpur district of Bihar.
