Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken today laid the foundation stone of a municipal community hall in Bhalaswa Dairy area in north Delhi.
The DPCC chief expressed his happiness that such development works are happening in areas like Bhalaswa, which falls on the outer areas of the city under the jurisdiction of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC).
"This hall will cost about Rs 88 lakh. And, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Karan Singh has given Rs 50 lakh for the new facility," Maken was quoted as saying by a statement released by the NDMC.
Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the BJP-led NDMC Mukesh Goel and area councillor, were also present, among others.
