'Malini requested Rs 5 cr for development of adopted village'

BJP MP Hema Malini has requested for a proposal of Rs 5 crore for the development of Rawal village, which she had adopted, the party said here today.

"She has requested to include proposal of Rs 5 crore for her adopted village Rawal, 10 crore for Sur Sadhna Sthali, Rs 25 crore for renovation of KC Ghat Vrindaban, Rs 5 core for the development of Mahaban town, Rs 5 crore for the renovation of Bramhand Ghat and Kadhera Ghat Baldeo under Mega destination plan," District President of BJP Dr D P Goel said.

"She stressed the need of development of Bhuteswar and Vrindaban stations," he said.
 

Goel said that in her meeting with Union Tourism minister Mahesh Sharma, Malini has presented proposals worth Rs 47 crore for the development of her constituency.

He said that in order to overcome the problem of unemployment in Mathura, Malini has demanded a rail coach factory for Mathura and opening of a Zonal Railway Training Institute in the district.

"She has demanded not only Rail coach factory but also stressed the need of opening a Zonal Railway Training Institute in Mathura," he said.
