Malka prices rose on increased demand from local parties while other pulses held steady at the wholesale market today amid thin trade.
Traders said besides a pick up in local demand, restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in malka prices.
In the national capital, malka local and best quality were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,200-7,500 and Rs 7,400-7,500 per quintal respectively.
