West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today felicitated the top achievers of board exams and state joint entrance examination for engineering at an event here
After the felicitation ceremony, the Chief Minister listened to the students who had personal problems and immediately directed the officials to take steps.
The Chief Minister in her brief speech said that the students present were the future of the nation.
"A galaxy of talent from all over the state had assembled today at Uttirna (hall) on the occasion of felicitation of Board toppers in 2017 exams. I wished them all success," Banerjee said in a facebook post.
"On this occasion, I also congratulate all students who appeared in this year's Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, ICSE, ISC, CBSE and WBJEE examinations and wish them all the best in their future endeavours,"she added.
