Virtually sounding the bugle for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation polls, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today praised its present TMC-ruled board and asked the people to vote it back to power.
"The present KMC board is working very well. They have carried various developmental works including restoration of heritage buildings, helping the slum dwellers. We all need to support those who are working well. You have to bring them back," Banerjee, who is also the TMC supremo, said while addressing a KMC programme.
KMC polls are scheduled for April-May this year but the dates have not yet been announced.
