Dilip Das (40) had come to Bhabanipur village to attend the shradh function of his father-in-law.
Das's family said as he was not felling well he went out for a walk last night. Is morning the body of Das was found with injury marks at Ektarpur village.
Das's family suspect that he was lynched by the villagers of Ektarpur last night suspecting him to be a thief as a number of theft had taken place in the village.
Police sources said they have sent the body for postmortem and have started investigation into the matter.
