The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths arrested a man for allegedly accepting bribe, an official said today.
A middleman was accepting a bribe of Rs 6,000 from a salesman of a wine shop on behalf of preventive officer of the District Excise Department Mahendra Kumar in Bhawanimandi of Jhalawar district, Additional Superintendent of Police (ACB Kota) Thakur Chandrasheel said.
A contractor had a few days ago approached the ACB and complained that Kumar has been demanding a bribe of Rs 12,000 for last four months from him, he said, adding the bribe amount between the duo was later settled at Rs 8,000.

He was produced before the ACB court today, he said, adding efforts are on to nab Kumar.
