A man was arrested for alleged illegal possession of arms here, police said today.
The accused identified as Tekchand, was arrested yesterday and one country-made pistol of 315 bore and cartridge were recovered from his possession, police said.
He has been booked under The Arms Act and police is further probing the issue, they said.
